HAITIAN ADVANCED SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM (H.A.S.P.)
The Haitian Advanced Scholarship Program provides university and advanced training scholarships to qualified students from the Pignon area. Students are screened, interviewed and enter into contract with the Comite de Bienfaisance. The students recieve tuition, room, board and an allowance for food and books while they attend their advanced training programs. After completion of their program, each student is required to pay back two years (in a paid position in their field at the hospital) for each year of school they were under scholarship.
